Development and realisation of uncertainty-aware validation benchmarks (D03)

The project aims to enhance our Bayesian validation framework for complex coupled models and to execute open benchmark studies across CRC 1313. Key developments include physics-informed and multi-output training for surrogate models, improved sensitivity analysis and multi-objective assessment using Bayesian Pareto analysis. Two open benchmark studies will be conducted: one on salt precipitation, and one on biomineralization, each combining experimental and modelling efforts across project areas.
