Term
since 2018

We examine the determinants and consequences of economic beliefs and preferences through a mix of experimental studies, surveys, and high-frequency panel data. We focus on how moral views—particularly along the universalism-particularism spectrum—influence climate policy attitudes, explore how attention to key societal issues affects policy preferences, study how individuals form, and use mental models in economic decision-making, and investigate the origins of discriminatory behavior.
