Project Description

This project is about developing an interactive online information system together with the projects of sec-tion A. The system will allow us to measure social policy dynamics and cross-national interdependencies across the globe in the last 150 years. WeSIS contains data on social policy, country specific characteris-tics, and political, economic, and social interdependencies across states as well as the countries’ integra-tion into International Organisations. This interdisciplinary project combines geogra¬phy, computer science and political science and is the interface of all the CRC’s projects as it mana¬ges the CRC-wide data collec-tion process in a substantive, technical, and methodological dimension.
