This proposal constitutes a one-year extension of the Emmy Noether research grant on ``The Conformal Bootstrap Program'' that has been running at DESY since October 2018. During the past years we have developed a powerful machinery for the study of defect CFT. The methods have already proved successful and warrant further exploration. Interesting examples of models that have been studied include monodromy defects in the $\varepsilon$-expansion, and supersymmetric Wilson lines in $\mathcal{N}$=4 SYM. This proposal is a separate line of research that complements our recent results. The project however is quite technical and requires an extra year of funding. The goal is to study defect correlators using modern analytical bootstrap techniques. More precisely, we present an outline for a focused research project that will extended our work to include surface defects in six-dimensional models."
