Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
Synthesis of functional hybrid materials via soft-template method has attracted increasing at-tentions as it is feasible for the formation of various complex ordered nanostructures (e.g. hi-erarchical porous structure), thus providing large space for the control over desired architec-tures as well as functionalities. Compared to the hard template, soft template is ease of tem-plate removal via simple solvent extraction or calcination. Our project focuses on the synthesis of novel functional composite materials with desired complex structures and functionalities us-ing soft-template approach. Specifically, three different soft templates have been applied for the synthesis of versatile composite particles within our study, including glycopeptide biomol-ecules, self-assembled block copolymer particles, and poly(ionic liquid) nanovesicles. Related fundamental aspects, such as template preparation, composite material fabrication, and their application in catalysis, have been well addressed in the study. Possible applications of the obtained composite particles as efficient catalysts have been studied in two representative reactions, i.e. reduction of 4-nitrophenol and CO2 electroreduction.
