Final Report Abstract
The work of the applicants and their doctoral students systematically analyzed the pathways towards an in situ / operando microplasma cell. A large step towards a better understanding of the role of plasma physics in modern material science has been provided by the work conducted over the course of this project. A strong basis for the realization of the thus far unavailable in situ microplasma environmental TEM capability has been laid out.
