In project C6|Haag/Schalley, Fluorine-Specific interactions at interfaces are investigated. Of interest are supra-molecular aggregates in solution as well as superrepellent surfaces based on covalent and supramolecular polymer coatings. Furthermore, the self-healing properties of supramolecular polymers are to be combined with the long-term stability of classical polymers to generate coatings that exhibit anisotropic wettabilities.
