Digitization of 17th cent. imprints of the collection Guenderrode. A contribution to the VD 17 master plan.

The goal of the project is to digitize a collection of imprints not yet incorporated into the VD 17 as a contribution to the systematic and complete digitization of the VD17 being the most important national bibliographic reference database for the 17th century. By selecting 2000 imprints it is intended to close gaps of the VD 17 refering to the master plan. The ULB Darmstadt will digitize 300.000 pages according to the Praxisregeln of the DFG, publish them under a free CC0 licence, index them by descriptive and structural metadata, also accessible via an OAI interface, and make them retrivalable in international databases.
