Numerical simulation of drop-wall film interaction of miscible liquids (B08)

The aim of the subproject is to understand the influence of the physico-chemical process on the fluid dynamic interaction between an impacting droplet and a thin liquid film under practice-relevant conditions on the basis of Direct Numerical Simulations. On this basis, correlations and regime maps for scale-reduced CFD methods will be developed for practical design processes.
