Final Report Abstract
As part of the project, Jamal Makkor was employed to work on his doctorate on this topic. Due to delays in digitizing the spectra, the project and the PhD is not yet finished. The results are very promising, three publications are planned, the first will be submitted soon. The topics of the publications are (i) Digitization of historical spectra from 1950 (ii) Global increase of CFC12 from 1951 until today and comparison with model calculations (iii) Variability of CO since 1950 and comparison with model calculations. The work on (i) has been presented as a poster at EGU2024 conference.
