To evaluate the influence of common combinations of antiresorptive/ antiangiogenic medications on the progression of peri-implant disease and the incidence of MRONJ in a standardized animal model.Hypothesis:Various types and common combinations of antiresorptive/ antiangiogenic medications accelerate the onset and progression of peri-implant diseases and subsequently the incidence of MRONJ when compared with an untreated (i.e. without antiresorptive/ antiangiogenic medication) control group.Innovation: This project will provide fundamental insights into the pathophysiology associated with MRONJ and investigate its potential role as risk indicator for peri-implant diseases.
