MPP-Computing-Cluster of the Leibniz Universität Hannover

The Computing Cluster requested in this application is to replace the MPP Computing Cluster of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, which is centrally operated by the Leibniz Universität IT Services (LUIS).To cover the basic demands of the Leibniz Universität Hannover on computing hardware with increased CPU performance and/or increased memory requirements, the Leibniz Universität IT Services with the service "Scientific Computing" offers several high-performance computer systems and machines with a particularly high amount of main memory. The computing clusters enable simulations that would take a long time or are even impossible on the computers of the institutes.The requested Computing Cluster will be available free of charge to all employees of Leibniz Universität Hannover for their computationally intensive scientific work.
