The aim of the proposal is the more exact calculation of the energy loss processes of high-energy muons. The energy loss processes are the foundation of energy reconstruction for high-energy muons in neutrino telescopes such as IceCube, ANTARES or KM3NeT. In particular the calculation of diffractive and radiative corrections to the dominant process, the electron-positron pair production by high-energy muons, is a central aim of this proposal. This is intended to decrease the systematic uncertainties on the energy reconstruction.
