The project will investigate electronic correlations in conjugated electron systems such as cyclic polycarbon molecules using attosecond time resolved spectroscopy. We will focus on two correlation-driven processes: first we will investigate charge migration in suddenly ionized molecules - in close collaboration with other Projects - and secondly we will study how correlation-based mechanisms such as shake-up can be used to implement a laser stabilization process in the dissociative molecule.
