The aim of the sub-project is to combine different polymer classes in a combined laser beam melting process of plastics (KLSS-K). Therefore, semi-crystalline thermoplastics and reactive liquids like durosets are joined in one process in order to generate multi-material plastic parts. The scientific research focuses on the interaction between the reactive liquid and the thermoplastic material as well as on the evaluation of different process strategies for the production of hard/soft combinations in laser beam melting of polymers.
