From nanoparticulate MOFs to the assembly of multifunctional supraparticles (A04)

Subject Area Technical Chemistry
Term since 2020
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 416229255

Project Description

The objective of A04 is to target i) the defined continuous synthesis of nanoparticulate Ln-doped metal-organic frameworks, exhibiting temperature-dependent fluorescence, and ii) their application as sensors in designed, remotely heatable supraparticlebased stationary phase materials. We will design multimaterial supraparticles to be used as advanced stationary phase materials by developing nanoparticles and tailored surface functionalisation strategies to guide the supraparticle assembly process, which will be closely supported by simulations on structure formation and inductive heating capacities.
