Combinatorial microstructure design (C04)

Project C04 develops property diagrams of Ni-Cu solid solution alloys for mechanical properties and generated microstructures as a function of chemical potential and observed defect phases. This will be carried out by means of high-throughput investigations on bulk samples in four iterations, in which stepwise both the step size of the alloy variation will be refined and the complexity of the thermo-mechanical process parameters will be increased.
