500 MHz NMR Spectrometer

In the context of this application it is intended to replace the two older components (a 19 year old console and a 31 year old magnet) of the two 500 MHz NMR spectrometers operated outside the two NMR groups (Thiele, Buntkowsky). This de facto means the procurement of a new complete 500 MHz machine. This instrument should be used with a sampler changer in routine NMR as well as to solve more complex structural problems. Especially by the appointment of Prof. Hausch the requirements for routine NMR spectra have increased (small sample quantities, complex compounds). Moreover, it is intended to use the new instrument not only to meet service needs, but increasingly for research purposes to relieve the second 500 MHz machine. This will be and has already been accompanied by personal changes in the service group. Since September 1st Dr. Matthias Köck, a well-known specialist in natural product NMR-spectroscopy has started to work in the analytics department.
