Final Report Abstract

The motivation behind the project was primarily an interest in the implementation of a project in an interesting field of research which is the physical chemistry of materials and energy. Thus, the proposal aimed to study double perovskites compounds for their use as advanced energy materials. The main objectives were, to synthesize and characterization of different families of double perovskite, to study their structural phase transitions and to search for the influence of the phase transition behavior on the physical properties. It aims to use them in new technologies as the hydrogen production and solid-state batteries technology, at low production cost and new environmental footprint.
