The X-ray diffractometer applied for poses an essential source of information for the research of our group and our collaborators. The instrument will be used for the investigation of nanoscaled powders and solide (crystal and micro-structure), thin films (crystal, micro-structure, under gracing incidence, including small angle scattering, microdiffraction, texture and reciprocal space maps, reflectometry), colloidal nanoparticles (microstructure, small angle scattering), for qualitty control of samples and optimization of processes as well as the preparation of experiments at external large scale research facilities (diffraction, scattering including small angle scattering and spectroscopy at synchrotron and neutron radiation sources).
