Project Details
Strong light-matter coupling with N-heteropolycycles for tunable organic photodetectors and phototransistors (C09)
Subject Area
Physical Chemistry of Molecules, Liquids and Interfaces, Biophysical Chemistry
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 281029004
N-heteropolycycles will be used directly or in combination with organic charge transport layers for tunable photodetectors and phototransistors that are integrated in strongly coupled multilayer cavities. Their polaritonic properties will be characterized by angle-resolved reflectance, photoluminescence and responsivity spectra. The goal is to understand long-range energy transfer in cavities and to develop widely tunable photodetectors. Chiral N-heteropolycycles and aligned zone-cast layers will be integrated in optical cavities to achieve selectivity for circularly and linearly polarized light.
