Project Details
600 MHz NMR spectrometer
Subject Area
Molecular Chemistry
Term
Funded in 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 452669688
The 600 MHz NMR spectrometer will be used in organic, inorganic, physical, medical, bioorganic, technical and analytical chemistry as well as chemical and technical biology and polymer chemistry. The requirements are very complex. Therefore, the NMR instrument should provide the best possible sensitivity for hetero nuclei and protons. In particular hetero nuclei should be measured as efficient as possible in order to allow for the very different applications. In this case, a helium cooled probe would provide the best possible sensitivity of hetero nuclei and protons. The applications are related to versatile one-, two- and three-dimensional NMR experiments, biomolecular NMR, screening methods, 2D- and 3D-DOSY, parallel acquisition, high pressure NMR and online coupling of HPLC and NMR.
