Project Details
Mechanistic modelling of metacommunity dynamics under multiple stressors in stream networks of real and generic catchments (A20)
Subject Area
Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Limnology, Urban Water Management, Water Chemistry, Integrated Water Resources Management
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 426547801
A20 will use metacommunity modelling to understand and predict the role of the ecological processes of the Asymmetric response concept, namely dispersal, stochasticity and selection by local environmental and biotic factors, in response to multiple stressors and recovery. This will be done for the catchments of RESIST (Boye and Kinzig), generic river networks to understand general dynamics and finally for a large Central European river catchment in cooperation with A24.
