Cataloging of the historical library of the Israelite Religious Community Leipzig and the Hebrew prints of Leipzig University Library

The aim of the project is to catalogue the historical library of the Israelite Religious Community Leipzig and the Hebrew prints of Leipzig University Library. A total of 1,080 Hebrew prints and 50 western language titles are to be catalogued in this project. About 200 Hebrew prints date from the early modern period. Prints of the 16th and 17th century will be incorporated into the national bibliographies VD16 and VD17. The cataloguing is done in the original language and transliterated in the K10plus union catalog.
