Analytical and data-based models for the hardware components and signal processing blocks of the EmpkinS Beacon and base stations suitable for resource allocation design will be developed. Based on these models, optimization problems will be formulated and, based on their solutions, resource allocation protocols and algorithms will be designed. The most promising resource allocation concepts will then be implemented, verified, and further refined in an experimental system.
