Application for a DFG grant for the end of year billing based on the number of publications in connection with the DEAL Wiley Agreement

Since 2019, the DIW Berlin is participant of the "Publish and Access Agreement Projekt DEAL and Wiley". Thereby, the institute aims to promote the transformation process from subscriptions to a charging based on open access articles in accordance with its Open Access Policy. The end of year billing for 2019 based on the number of publications shows a funding gap for the DIW Berlin. For balancing this gap the DIW Berlin has only limited financial means since the projects underlying the publications are completed already. The equity ratio of 35 % has already been transferred by the DIW Berlin.
