Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 442261292
The subproject investigates the differentiation of humans and machines and aims to understand how the use of AI is changing the differentiation of performance in higher education and the digital games industry. In the context of higher education, the subproject focuses on AI-supported writing practices on the part of the participants; in the field of the creative industry, it examines work with AI in game development. It also investigates the regulations that emerge from the discourse on AI in both fields. The project seeks to contribute to a sociology-of-knowledge approach to the zones of human distinction, using the case of human–machine de/differentiation as a point of departure.
