Applicant
Mohamed Khalgui, Ph.D.
Subject Area
Automation, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Intelligent Technical Systems, Robotics
Term
Funded in 2007
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 46813557
The applicant has first of all to compare the techniques, on design and verification of FBs based applications, proposed in his PhD researches with those proposed in the host group. The purpose is to optimize the validation of distributed IEC 61499 applications. In addition, the applicant has to study the technology of re-configurable systems. This technology is required nowadays in the industry sector. The modeling formalism proposed in the Pr. Hanisch's group will be extended to come up with a methodology for re-configurable systems. First ideas have already taken shape and are described in an internal report which will serve as a basis for the work. In addition, the applicant has to enrich his knowledge by studying the large literature on reconfigurable systems. Several interesting techniques can be exploited to enrich the researches contribution.
