Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse

The DFG funded project “Émilie Du Châtelet in Relation to Wolff and Leibniz – Similarities and Differences” contributed to a systematic investigation of Du Châtelet’s significance in the history of philosophy by analysing her metaphysical contribution in its content and its historical context in a comparison with Leibniz and Wolff. This was achieved through various activities at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists and through research output and discussion, including an international conference on the theme and a collected volume, which will be published with Springer series History of Women Philosophers and Scientists.
