Leibniz University (LUH) is applying for a three-year grant from the DFGʼs „Open Access Publication Funding“ programme. The project aims to finance Open Access publication costs of LUH scientists and to create organizational preconditions for a successful transformation and management of the information budget. During the project period, publication monitoring will be expanded using the LUH research information system. Attributing publications to the university as well as to third-party funded projects and funding bodies will be improved. In particular, the use of ORCID and of Funding Acknowledgements in publications will be promoted through various measures. Thirdly, a system will be established monitoring decentrally paid publication costs. These measures will provide a comprehensive overview of all funds used for publishing at LUH.
