The Helmholtz Association aims to publish all scientific articles in Open Access from 2025. Open Access is to become the standard for scientific publishing. In addition to the HZDR's internal publication fund, further financial support for scientists in open access publishing is to be made possible. In parallel, a central system is to be created that automatically combines publications and publication costs.
