The Leibniz Institute for the German Language has been involved in Open Access for several years. The most important instrument for verifying and monitoring all publications is the IDS publication server. All expenses for Open Access are recorded in an Excel table maintained by the library. Paid open access publications must be approved via a procurement requests. These existing offers are to be further expanded and optimized.The publication funds applied for should serve to budget the open access costs previously financed through different budgets via a common budget and to manage them centrally via the accounting system.
