Life cycle sustainability assessment for a digital twin of the road system (C02)

In TP C02, the methodology of life cycle sustainability assessment (LCSA) will be integrated into the design and realization of the digital twin of the road system and a cyber-physical system (CPS). Based on data from project partners (e.g. TP A05, A06, B06, C01), indicators will be developed and adapted to the digital road context, the handling of potential trade-offs will be explored, and the first-time combination of LCSA and CPS will be developed. TP C02 aims to advance LCSA in the road construction and building sector, to further develop LCSA and its interpretation and visualization as well as to research and apply LCSA for the first time in the context of a digital twin.
