Project Details
T cells as a therapeutic target in an acute myocardial infarction pig model (A02)
Subject Area
Cardiology, Angiology
Term
since 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 453989101
In this project we will assess novel immunotherapeutic strategies to improve wound healing after myocar- dial infarction (MI). We will mainly use a pig model, allowing us to closely monitor cardiac function under patient-like conditions. To beneficially support wound healing, we are building on our previous work concerning therapeutic T cell targeting. By monitoring T cell activation and differentiation using flow cytometry and scRNA-Seq we will develop a platform for assessing immunomodulatory strategies in MI.
