The project aims to adequately inform and educate users in order to encourage better decision-making with respect to personal security and privacy behavior. In particular, the project considers in which contexts and for which users transparent and, thus, comprehensible indicators as user interventions yield such improved outcomes. More generally, the project further investigates if and how user interventions in security and privacy can benefit from personalization and control opportunities by the users.
