Project Details
Intelligent Life Cycle Support (T19#)
Subject Area
Hydraulic and Turbo Engines and Piston Engines
Term
since 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 119193472
The objective of the transfer project is the development of an adaptive and automated process for geometry identification and aero-thermodynamic evaluation of component variations from different engine architectures, taking into account real influences of operation and maintenance for industrial practice in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul). The results allow an early recognition of aerodynamic and performance-relevant sensitivities of new engines and, on this basis, the generation of new data for the MRO process, e.g. for the individual part inspection, repair and the assembly process.
