In the previous funding period we have developed the Boltzmann Generator method in project A04: a generative machine learning approach that allows us to efficiently sample the equilibrium distribution of structures of a molecular system. This research direction will now be continued in the new project B08. Here we aim to develop hierarchical Boltzmann Generators for periodic systems such as crystals or simulations of liquids.
