Analytical Chemistry
Analytical Chemistry
Term
since 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 388390466
The new project A09(N) studies transformations of defect-engineered Co oxide-based (pre-)catalyst nanoparticles during electrochemical water and alcohol oxidation including the formation of the working catalyst, continuous regeneration of active sites in course of catalytic cycles, degradation and recovery phenomena. The role of size, shape, composition and surface-adsorbed ligands of the nanoparticle (pre-) catalysts is correlated with the resulting electrocatalytic activity and selectivity applying single entity electrochemistry via nanoimpact experiments and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
