The main objective of this proposal is a self-adapted LiDAR (LightDetection and Ranging) system that provides comprehensive realtimeenvironment evaluation and robust measurements underchanging environments using Machine Learning methods. Theproposed system includes the LiDAR sensor front-end for dataacquisition and the Machine Learning-based light-weight dataprocessing approach for condition monitoring and distance inference.The complete system must also be implementable in an embeddedsystem without imposing additional resources and time for datatransmission.
