The aim of the proposal is to support the activities of the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) to make all research results available as Open Access and to set them up sustainably. Concrete work packages are 1. improved reporting from the research information system AWI-Elements used at the Centre 2. an improved data basis and increased quality of metadata for the research information system, supplemented by 3. cost data and cost monitoring to ensure comprehensive reporting on research output and publication costs and 4. advice and information in the field of Open Access and use of the research information system. The application supports the Institute's own publication fund and the Centre's efforts towards the Open Access transformation.
