1. Formation of StructureAt THI, structures need to be newly introduced or further developed to standardize the management of open access funding. The main focus, in this context, is on cooperation and the targeted exchange of information between the organizational units with a strong research focus, the Finance Service Department, and the Library's Research and Publication Service Department. The number, types and costs of publications will be presented as uniformly as possible.This also includes other measures such as expanding the range of information, ensuring distributive justice, and introducing a funding acknowledgement.2. Fund and Cost Transparency across all THI PublicationsThe long-term goal is an integrated information budget, in which funds for scientific literature and publication costs are mapped together. On this basis, a demand-oriented budgeting model is to develop.
