With this funding application, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is participating in the sustainable organization and financing of the Open Access transformation. In this context, a reliable and efficient structure for the central financing of publication costs for Open Access publications by members of the university is to be continued and expanded in the funding period 2023 to 2025 through publication funds, transformation contracts and other models such as Diamond Open Access. Extensive measures in the areas of publication monitoring, cost monitoring, process management, and communication and consulting accompany the central structural adjustment for the sustainable establishment and organization of an integrated information budget combined with a university-wide uniform financing strategy for OA publications.
