OTH Regensburg applies for a publication cost grant within the framework of the LIS programme “Open Access Publication Funding” to provide the best possible financial support to university members for the Open Access option beyond the existing transformation contracts. With this start-up funding, the publication fund, set up by the university can be expanded and a sustainable basis for financing publication costs for Open Access can be established. As part of the project, the existing processes for the central recording and monitoring of publication costs will be adjusted and at the same time digitalised as far as possible. This will also enable the cost information to be made openly available. The aim is to offer scientists a convenient infrastructure for all services and consultation offer to the entire topic of Open Access.
