Molecular physiology of peribacteroid membrane proteins in lotus japonicus

Subject Area Organismic Interactions, Chemical Ecology and Microbiomes of Plant Systems
Term from 1999 to 2007
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 5174228

Final Report Year 2007

Final Report Abstract

An efficient system has been established to epitope-tag, express, and localise transporters and other proteins in Lotus nodules, which will facilitate cell biology and functional genomics in this model species. While research towards other aims was less fruitful, Maren Wandrey took the opportunity to develop her skills in bioinformatics, which had a positive impact on other research in our group and led to co-authorship for her on a number of publications, listed above.
