Project Details
Dissection of CrRLK1L signalling pathways regulating disease susceptibility and resistance to powdery mildew (B09)
Subject Area
Organismic Interactions, Chemical Ecology and Microbiomes of Plant Systems
Term
since 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 491090170
This project examines the molecular mechanisms of the Arabidopsis CrRLK1L FERONIA, together with its RALF peptide ligands, supporting powdery mildew infection. Additional CrRLK1Ls affect powdery mildew invasion with susceptibility and resistance factors within one gene family. This project will study Arabidopsis CrRLK1L and RALF diversity underlying differential regulatory functions during powdery mildew invasion and their genetic and biochemical interplay with FERONIA.
