Es sollen nichtlokale Eigenschaften von Quantenzuständen im Hinblick auf ihre Bedeutung für die Informationsverarbeitung untersucht werden. Insbesondere sollen (i) die mathematische Struktur separierbarer bzw. nicht-separierbarer Zustände geklärt werden, (ii) es sollen Verschränkungsmaße für technisch bedeutsame gemischte Zustände charakterisiert werden, und (iii) es soll der Zusammenhang zwischen Spieltheorie und Informationstheorie auf der Quantenebene erforscht werden.
