Within the proposed research project two fundamental physical phenomena shall be investigated theoretically (as far as possible analytically, and also numerically):· the electromagnetic radiation of an ultra-relativistic charged particle due to channeling in a periodically bent crystal· the possibility of stimulated photon emission in such a system and its characteristics.I expect, that these investigations will stimulate experimental investigations of these phenomena. Those, in turn, could eventually lead to the construction of a highly intense source of high energetic monochromatic coherent radiations (i.e. a GammaLaser).
