Project Details
Galactic feedback and ISM chemistry across cosmic times (C01)
Subject Area
Astrophysics and Astronomy
Term
since 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 500700252
By combining multi-wavelength observations from the most competitive new facilities including JWST, ALMA, NOEMA, VLA, and MeerKAT reaching resolved scales comparable to those in local galaxies, Project C1 will study the physical conditions, chemical evolution, ISM enrichment and feedback processes governing the habitats of massive stars at high redshift over a large range in galaxy properties including typical galaxies, AGN hosts, extreme starbursts, strongly-lensed systems, and clustered vs. field environments.
