Digitisation of unique and rare printed works of the VD 17 and VD 18

As part of VD 17 the GWLB intends to digitize a total of 965 titles with a total of 32,382 pages which are to be described as unique pieces according to the VD 17 master plan. As part of VD 18 the GWLB intends to index and digitize a total of 1,158 titles with a total of 150,540 pages. The digital copies are made available virtually in the digital collections of the GWLB, in which the DFG viewer is integrated. The digital copies will be available for use as open as possible (public domain). The metadata is made available under CC0 license. The persistence of the data is guaranteed by PURL.
