This research project deals with concepts of solidarity from the perspective of systematic theology. The present research desideratum (especially in Protestant theology) will be addressed by discussing, after an overview of the development of the concept of solidarity and of concepts of solidarity, a selection of the central theological concepts of solidarity after 1945 to the present that are connectable for systematic theology. For this purpose, the theologies of Helmut Gollwitzer, Jan Milič Lochman, Luise Schottroff and Gustavo Gutiérrez as well as the sociology of Heinz Bude will be selected. Finally, on the basis of the preceding investigations, an own systematic-theological outline for a theology of solidarity will follow. Here, emphasis will be placed on the reflection of the concept of God and a Christian speech of the God of solidarity. Another central aspect is the examination of (inter-)human (Christian) solidarity. In the sense of the contextuality of one's own theological design, the current situation of the (post-)Corona age is also to be taken into account.
